Figura ludzka od kilku lat pozostaje g\u0142\u00f3wnym obiektem moich zainteresowa\u0144. Wed\u0142ug mnie jest ona najbardziej z\u0142o\u017conym i intryguj\u0105cym tematem w malarstwie. Po cz\u0119\u015bci jestem w stanie zgodzi\u0107 si\u0119 z Francisem Baconem, kt\u00f3ry twierdzi\u0142, \u017ce sztuka abstrakcyjna nieuchronnie wiedzie ku dekoracyjno\u015bci, podczas gdy ta czyni\u0105ca bohaterem cz\u0142owieka, jest w stanie mocniej poruszy\u0107 widza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moje obrazy to wynik d\u0105\u017cenia do syntezy wizerunku cz\u0142owieka, pozostawiam w nich tak\u017ce du\u017co miejsca na kontrolowany przypadek i wolno\u015b\u0107 wyboru. Maluj\u0105c inspiruje si\u0119 pras\u0105, fotografiami i liternictwem w niej wyst\u0119puj\u0105cym. Ca\u0142kowicie nie interesuje mnie natomiast przekaz jaki ze sob\u0105 nios\u0105, dekompletuje je i pozbawiam znaczenia, jednocze\u015bnie nadaj\u0105c im nowe. Elementy liternictwa zawarte w moich pracach w \u017caden spos\u00f3b nie s\u0105 wi\u0119c komunikatami, ale warto\u015bci\u0105 czysto wizualna. S\u0105 one niejako przejawem wsp\u00f3\u0142czesno\u015bci. Obrazy wpadaj\u0105 do mojej g\u0142owy, kie\u0142kuj\u0105 w nowe pomys\u0142y \u2013 generuj\u0105 nowe obrazy, wytwarzaj\u0105 r\u00f3\u017cne stereotypy, w du\u017cej mierze warunkuj\u0105 my\u015blenie. W ten spos\u00f3b powstaje obraz \u2013 przetworzony, przefiltrowany przez psychik\u0119 \u2013 jednak maj\u0105cy swe realne \u017ar\u00f3d\u0142o w innych obrazach, najcz\u0119\u015bciej zobaczonych w telewizji czy prasie.
Jeste\u015bmy bezustannie bombardowani obrazami, w\u017ceraj\u0105 si\u0119 w nasz\u0105 pod\u015bwiadomo\u015b\u0107, steruj\u0105 zachowaniami. Wykreowane przez cz\u0142owieka, teraz wiod\u0105 sw\u00f3j w\u0142asny niezale\u017cny \u017cywot. Powo\u0142ali\u015bmy je do \u017cycia i stracili\u015bmy nad nimi kontrol\u0119.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The human figure has been the main object of my interest for a few years now. I consider it to be the most complex and intriguing topic when it comes to painting. To some degree, I would agree here with Francis Bacon, who claimed that abstract art results inevitably in decorativeness while the one which turns a human being into a hero can move the spectator more deeply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My paintings are the result of my efforts to synthesize the image of a human being. a lot of their space is devoted to controlled accident and freedom of choice I am often inspired by press, photography and lettering. However, I am not interested in the messages they carry. I dissect them, strip them of their meaning while giving them a new one. Therefore, the elements of lettering included in my works have no communicative value whatsoever, but only a visual one. In a way, they are a manifestation of the modern world. Images just fall into my head and evolve into new ideas \u2013 they generate new images, create various stereotypes, largely condition the way I think. This is how a painting\/image is created \u2013 processed and filtered by the mind \u2013 but with its source lying in other images, most often seen on TV or in the press.
We are constantly bombarded with images which settle deeply in our unconscious minds and control our behaviour. Created by a human being, now they lead their own independent lives. We made them alive but we lost control over them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
